Inauguration of the “Breakfast with PLLuM” Series
Last Monday marked the first meeting in the “Breakfast with PLLuM” series, dedicated to the practical application of artificial intelligence in public administration.

The event brought together a wide range of participants – representatives of public offices, digital transformation teams, and professionals responsible for strategy and organizational development in local governments. Attendance exceeded our expectations, confirming the growing interest in AI within the public sector.
PLLuM in Practice – HIVE Consortium and Gdynia’s Implementation Experience
The meeting began with a presentation by Dr. Agnieszka Karlińska, who introduced the work of the HIVE AI consortium and outlined the journey of the Polish language model PLLuM – from concept and technological development to real-world deployments in public institutions. Participants gained insights into both the technical and organizational aspects of AI implementation, as well as the potential of models trained on resources from gov.pl and the Public Information Bulletin (BIP).
Next, representatives from the City of Gdynia shared their experience of integrating PLLuM into daily operations. Their presentation was rich in practical conclusions, recommendations, and candid reflections that can serve as valuable inspiration for other institutions considering similar initiatives.
The event concluded with an open discussion, providing space for questions, exchange of ideas, and networking. Attendees had the opportunity to speak with experts, explore the behind-the-scenes of AI deployments, and draw inspiration from real-life examples of AI in administration.
Invitation to Collaborate
The HIVE AI consortium, led by NASK, invites Polish local governments to participate in testing the prototype of a citizen assistant powered by the PLLuM language model. Participation in consultations and pilot programs offers a chance to influence the development of a tool that can significantly improve citizen services and the efficiency of public offices.
The Gdynia meeting was the first in the “Breakfast with PLLuM” series, and we are already looking forward to future editions. Local governments can now apply to take part in testing the citizen assistant prototype.
This is a unique opportunity for public institutions and companies to witness the results of AI deployments up close, understand the implementation process, and engage with those already successfully using modern solutions based on Polish language models.
