Integration Trips of NASK-PIB Research and Development Center Divisions
In recent weeks, the teams of the NASK-PIB Research and Development Center met outside the office to combine reflection on their achievements with discussions about new ideas in a conducive setting.

Development and Technology Transfer organized their integration event in Łochów. The goal was to strengthen collaboration and help teams get to know each other better, while also providing training sessions that allowed participants to gain practical skills regardless of their department.
The Cybersecurity Research and Development Division held its integration meeting in Iława. The purpose of the trip was to combine team-building activities with reflection on past achievements and planning future initiatives.
The first day began with a creative exercise: participants were asked to identify three keywords they associate with the year 2025. Among the suggestions were AI, cyberpunk, VPN, war, sports, reactivation, Sri Lanka, routers, and wild boars – illustrating the team’s diversity of perspectives and interests.
Next on the agenda were presentations of each team’s achievements, displayed on posters. The discussion that followed was full of positive energy and inspiring insights:
- “Great atmosphere, encourages one-on-one conversations.”
- “I was surprised at how easily we listed our successes.”
- “We have plenty of great achievements—worth sharing more widely.”
- “I’m glad we opened up and feel part of the teams.”
In an informal setting, many conversations emerged around participants’ research passions. The topics ranged widely from psychology and anthropology to automation.
The second day focused on the format of future meetings and the Division’s strategic directions. It was agreed that a series of team presentations will begin in November.
There was also time for mutual introductions—representatives from different divisions shared what they do daily, the projects they are working on, and the challenges they face. This helped participants better understand the roles of other teams within the Center and identify opportunities for cross-departmental collaboration.
The atmosphere was full of energy, openness, and inspiration. The meeting demonstrated that even in large, diverse organizations, it is possible to build strong relationships and a shared work culture – provided the right conditions are created.
