NASK Employees at Oh My Hack 2025 – New Challenges in Cyberspace
The Oh My Hack conference is one of the most important cybersecurity events in Poland.

This year’s edition demonstrated how quickly the threat landscape is evolving and highlighted the importance of collaboration among experts from different sectors, as well as the complexity of security processes in IoT ecosystems.
Inspiring Presentations
The conference featured many fascinating talks:
- Jan Adamski and Marcin Rytel from NASK’s Cybersecurity Department presented how they discovered a critical vulnerability that allows remote takeover of popular IoT devices. They discussed their proprietary PMIoT methodology, showcased the CVE-2023-4617 (CVSS 10.0) vulnerability, and demonstrated a practical device takeover scenario.
- Jakub Domeracki (CODER) introduced a creative vulnerability chain in Google SecOps SOAR, developed as part of the Google Cloud bugSWAT 2025 program.
- Anna Wasilewska-Śpioch (Zaufana Trzecia Strona) spoke about the activities of Belarusian Cyberpartisans, their regional operations, and techniques used in cyber conflicts.
- Jarosław Jedynak (CERT Polska NASK) explained the complexity of detecting malicious files and building effective detection mechanisms.
- Krzysztof Zając (CERT Polska NASK) discussed the inner workings of the moje.cert.pl and Artemis projects, which enable large-scale scanning of national resources and identification of hundreds of thousands of vulnerabilities.
- Michał Sajdak (Sekurak) provided an overview of the most interesting web vulnerabilities from the past year.
- Marcin Juszko and Witold Ławacz (Standard Chartered) presented modern phishing techniques and methods for detecting them.
Why Does This Matter?
Each presentation showed that cybersecurity is not just about technology—it’s also about collaboration and knowledge sharing. Joint efforts by experts enable faster responses to threats and the development of more effective protection mechanisms. Oh My Hack is where theory meets practice, resulting in solutions that genuinely enhance user security.
We thank all participants for their active engagement, questions, and inspiring discussions. We are proud that NASK employees were part of this exceptional event!
