Support for commercialization and technology transfer in science and the economy
Research and Academic Computer Network – National Research Institute, thanks to an awarded grant, has launched the “Science4Business” project.

The aim of the project is to conduct industrial research and experimental development work, identify solutions with commercialization potential and further develop them, expand knowledge of the role of technology transfer in science and the economy in home research organizations, and establish cooperation with the business environment through the transfer of know-how from the higher education sector to the economy.
Four project tasks will be carried out. These will include:
- Mapping the potential of research organizations,
- Marketing of technology and research offerings,
- Conducting industrial research and experimental development for research results with identified commercial potential,
- Access to knowledge and development of tools for teams involved in technology transfer.
Implementation of the project is aimed not only at achieving the assumed research results, but also at active promotion of scientific achievements, increasing its impact on the development of innovation and strengthening cooperation between academia and the economic sector. The project is primarily addressed to scientists, research and teaching staff, and its indirect impact also includes enterprises and the wider socio-economic environment.
The project is funded by the European Union under the “European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021-2027” Program.
