19th PACTT Conference – Cooperation, AI Applications and Intellectual Property of the 21st Century

30.04.2026

This slogan perfectly summed up the 19th PACTT Conference, which took place in Opole – the Capital of Polish Song!

For over a year, NASK has been operating as a member of the PACTT initiative, which currently brings together more than 100 organizations involved in intellectual property and technology transfer. During the conference, NASK was represented by Jakub Brzeziński from the Office of Research Development and Technology Transfer.

The event focused on dialogue, the exchange of good practices, and the need for changes in the approach to technology transfer in Poland. In addition to intensive networking, the conference featured many valuable and inspiring presentations, including:

  • “Promotion of Projects and Technologies in the Internet of Tomorrow” – the speakers engaged in an interesting discussion on the need to update ways of communicating projects and technologies to business. We will follow the development of the presented ideas with great interest.
  • A presentation by representatives of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys – attention was drawn to the potential use of artificial intelligence in the field of intellectual property, as well as to the legal challenges arising from the dynamic development of AI, which regulations often fail to keep pace with.
  • A presentation by Jarosław Chojecki from the Innovation Center of WSB Merito University in Warsaw – his talk titled “The 7 Deadly Sins of Customer Development in Academic Projects” resonated strongly with participants and provided practical tips on how to increase a project’s chances of success.

The conference was another important event on the map of technology transfer in Poland. Ahead of us lies the task of organizing the knowledge gained and effectively implementing it in practice.
